Principal Technology Consultant (SAP Basis / Solution Architecture)

Location: Portugal (Remote/Hybrid)

About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Technology Consultant with deep experience in SAP Basis, solution architecture, and leadership of complex delivery programs. In this senior role, you will guide large-scale SAP transformations, manage high-risk projects, and build strategic relationships with customers and SAP stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead high-volume, high-complexity SAP delivery engagements, focusing on architecture, design, and strategic direction.
- Manage teams, tracks, or full projects—ensuring milestones, deliverables, and budgets are achieved.
- Provide authoritative guidance on SAP Basis and solution architecture, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with C-level stakeholders across customer and SAP organizations.
- Drive business development through thought leadership, innovation, and deep industry knowledge.
- Own and deliver work packages, ensuring quality, governance, and risk management.
- Contribute to organizational success through mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and community engagement.

Requirements

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in SAP process implementation, architecture, or technical leadership roles.
- Expert-level understanding of SAP Basis (active certification required).
- Proven track record in managing complex SAP programs, including design, architecture, and leadership activities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with multinational teams and enterprise-level customers.
- Ability to work legally from Portugal.
