About the Team
The Customer Success Engineering team works directly with clients to ensure that every technical aspect of our product—installation, configuration, and customization—is delivered smoothly and at the highest standard. We act as technical consultants, helping clients solve complex and unique challenges. Our team is dynamic, persistent, and committed to delivering a world‑class experience.
Role Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Customer Success Department, you will be responsible for ensuring our products are installed and meet client requirements, including integration and performance management. You will work with a broad range of technologies such as multiple flavors of SQL, NoSQL databases, on‑premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google), and streaming or messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka). You will also develop custom Java interfaces, use web services to enhance data, and build custom extensions for our Fraud Analysis platform.
Responsibilities
- Execute full software development life cycle, including building integrations and enhancements to the core product.
- Write well‑designed, testable code.
- Integrate multiple software components into a fully functional system.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
- Deploy and support systems in production.
- Comply with best practices and industry standards.
- Work with Agile principles to regularly deliver quality products.
- Ensure proper feature deployment or product upgrades.
- Provide second‑tier support for live clients.
- Mentor, coach and inspire other team members and foster best practices. Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, or equivalent work experience.
- More than four years of extensive Java software development experience.
- Knowledge of thread and JVM memory management in high‑performance systems.
- Client engagement experience and ability to act as a consultant.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience with Zookeeper, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, Ansible, Docker, and databases is a plus. First 30‑Days You will be immersed in our brand with training, connections, and one‑on‑one time with your manager. You may shadow colleagues virtually or onsite, and you will receive extensive information to understand Feedzai and its team.
