WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU?

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 0–2 years of ABAP development experience (internships or academic projects count).
- Basic knowledge of at least one SAP functional area; Advanced English is mandatory as most stakeholders are part of an international team.
- Solid understanding of ABAP syntax, data dictionary, and basic OO concepts.
- Exposure to IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and introductory OData service development.
- Fundamental debugging and performance awareness; willingness to learn optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and collaborative communication.
- Growth mindset focused on lessons learned, observability metrics, and incremental improvement.

Preferred Attributes:

- Familiarity with S/4HANA concepts (CDS, RAP basics), Fiori/UI5 exposure is a plus.
- Experience with Agile methods and version control (Git) is advantageous.
- Curiosity for security, testing, and DevOps practices.

HOW WILL YOUR DAILY JOB BE?

Development & Configuration:

- Implement ABAP objects (classical & basic OO ABAP): reports, module pool screens, Smart Forms/Adobe Forms, and simple enhancements.
- Develop and maintain data dictionary objects (tables, views, domains, data elements) and basic CDS views with supervision.

Integration Support:

- Build and troubleshoot standard interfaces (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs) and assist in creating/consuming OData services.
- Collaborate with integration teams to monitor, log, and reprocess messages.

Quality & Testing:

- Follow clean coding standards; perform basic debugging (SE80, SE38), unit tests, and support integration/system tests.
- Use ATC/SCI to fix findings and improve code quality.

Documentation & Operations:

- Prepare technical specifications and maintain solution documentation.
- Participate in transport management, deployments, and L2 incident handling.

Collaboration & Growth:

- Work closely with senior developers and functional consultants; attend Agile ceremonies and accept feedback loops.
- Pursue continuous learning in ABAP, S/4HANA innovations, and integration patterns.
