Senior Mobile QA Engineer

Our iOS and Android apps have more than 200M installs, 15M+ active users, more than 500 commercial partners and confirmed by the independent academic research ability to make our users up to 20% more active. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Mobile QA Engineer to lead quality initiatives for our Sweatcoin application. In this senior role, you will drive QA strategy within a dedicated product team, ensure the quality of delivered functionality, architect testing frameworks, and lead strategic testing projects that scale with our growing app. If you/'re a seasoned QA professional who thrives on technical challenges and leadership opportunities, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities - Lead comprehensive testing projects including functional, UX, performance, and accessibility testing across mobile platforms - Ensure the quality of all functionality delivered by your product team through thorough testing and validation - Design and implement scalable QA architecture and testing frameworks for your product team - Drive test automation strategy and oversee implementation of end-to-end automated testing solutions - Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms - Champion "shift-left" testing practices and establish quality gates within the team - Lead root cause analysis for critical production issues and implement preventive measures - Participate in system architecture discussions to ensure testability and quality from design phase - Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans and risk assessments - Drive continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes, tools, and methodologies Requirements - 4+ years of experience in testing - Strong understanding of mobile testing ecosystems, including deep knowledge of iOS and Android platforms - Proven experience in test automation frameworks (Detox, Appium, XCUITest, Espresso) and programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java) - Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems - Proven track record of implementing QA best practices and process improvements at scale - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to debug complex technical issues - Strong ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks. - Readiness to work in a high performance environment and handle multiple tasks. - Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to influence without authority - Experience working within product company - Upper-intermediate or higher level of English proficiency - Bachelor/'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience Nice to Have - Deep knowledge of React Native architecture and testing strategies - Familiarity with mobile analytics and monitoring tools (Firebase, Bugsnag) - ISTQB certification or other relevant QA certifications - Experience in fintech or health-tech domains What you will get in return - Remote-friendly & Flexible working hours.
