Locations

Braga, Coimbra, Lisbon (Hybrid).

Responsibilities

- Lead by example with 5+ years of professional experience in JavaScript development, demonstrating deep technical expertise and mentoring capabilities.

- Apply 2+ years of proven experience as a Tech Lead, guiding engineering teams through architectural decisions and delivery execution.

- Architect and maintain scalable backend services and serverless technologies, ensuring performance and reliability.

- Experience with Cloud, especially with GCP.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Node.js, leveraging both JavaScript and TypeScript to support maintainability and team collaboration.

- Design and evolve RESTful APIs and microservices, aligning with best practices for modularity and scalability.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Design,) define, design, and deliver impactful features that meet business goals.

- Code quality through rigorous testing, peer reviews, and continuous improvement of development standards.

- Monitor and optimize application performance, proactively identifying bottlenecks and driving improvements in scalability and reliability.

- Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation within the team.

Nice to Have

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) for streamlined deployment and automation.

- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform to support scalable and maintainable cloud infrastructure.
