IT Purchase Manager

A2IT Tecnologia is a Portuguese IT services company, founded in 2006. With offices in Portugal, Brazil, and the UAE, we provide 24/7 support and tech solutions for national and international clients. We are ISO 9001 and GNS certified, and partner with major technology providers.
We are looking for a Purchase Manager with experience in the IT market to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze the needs for raw materials and equipment, monitoring the IT market;
- Create and manage Purchase Orders (PO), quotations, and contracts;
- Optimize costs and monitor supplier performance;
- Manage transportation, receipt, and logistics of purchased items;
- Validate renewal dates and alert the responsible account manager;
- Follow up after order submission and invoice validation;
- Ensure cost compliance and support the commercial team in pricing and proposal analysis;
- Financially validate new suppliers and analyze public contract documents.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strategic thinking aligned with the organization's principles;
- Negotiation skills to improve results with suppliers;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in commercial and procurement processes;
- Knowledge of the company's purchased products;
- Agility in problem-solving and dynamic approach to daily tasks;
- Analytical skills and decision-making capability.
This is an on-site position (Almada), preferably for candidates based in Margem Sul.
