What You Will Do:
- Design and evolve cloud architectures across AWS and Azure, ensuring scalable, secure and cost-efficient platforms.
- Lead cloud adoption and migration initiatives in collaboration with engineering, security and operations teams.
- Implement and support governance practices including IAM, security controls and policy enforcement.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (English and Spanish) to translate business needs into robust cloud solutions.
- Produce documentation and contribute to knowledge management for scalable service delivery.
- Participate in international workshops, alignment sessions and project deliveries (must be based in Portugal and available for travel).
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in English and Spanish (C1).
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Deep knowledge of AWS and Azure architecture and services.
- Experience with cloud security, governance and IAM.
- Hands‑on experience with VMware platforms and cloud migration projects.
- Solid understanding of FinOps principles.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation) and DevOps tools.
- Experience in ITIL-based service delivery environments.
- Familiarity with managed security tools (Prisma Cloud, Defender for Cloud, AWS Security Hub).
- Strong documentation and knowledge‑sharing habits.
- Must live in Portugal and be available for occasional travel (remote role).
- Available for contract under a B2B model, mandatory.
