Electrical Package Manager | Data Center Construction

Sines - Portugal (Site based)

This leading contractor are seeking an Electrical Package Manager to join their expanding team in Portugal, A great opportunity to work for a market leading contractor with a fantastic reputation in the market who are experts in the delivery of mission critical projects.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the Electrical Systems package from design coordination to installation, testing, and commissioning.

- Oversee site safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and the Safety Advisor, including setup, management, and ensuring the safety file is maintained as part of the management team.

- Promote and maintain a strong Quality, Health, and Safety culture within your team.

- Collaborate with the Project Manager, consulting engineers, and the client to manage the project schedule and ensure timely delivery.

- Manage all costs associated with the electrical package, including: Subcontractors, Material deliveries and goods receipting, Plant and equipment, Variations and valuations.

- Oversee all day site operations.

- Issue direct labour and subcontractor hours to the time administrator for central tracking.

- Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.

- Schedule material deliveries to align with the project programme and track all deliveries.

- Perform all other duties as required to successfully deliver the electrical package.

Requirements

- Relevant Electrical Qualification essential eg. Masters or Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

- Previous experience in Project Management and Proven record of coordinating and managing large scale installation projects.

- Knowledge of Health & Safety.

- Good technical knowledge of Electrical systems.
