Location:
Braga, Portugal.
Salary:
$1,100 per month. Contract: 12‑month contract with potential for extension based on performance. Visa and airfare subsidizing are provided for international candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop machine learning models and algorithms to analyze large datasets.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for applying machine learning techniques.
- Design experiments, collect data, and evaluate model performance.
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning techniques and tools. Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts such as regression, classification, clustering, neural networks, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Knowledge of data preprocessing techniques and feature engineering.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with big data tools (e.g. Hadoop, Spark).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure).
- Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
