Field Service Engineer – IT (Systems and Software)

Join us to apply for the Field Service Engineer – IT (Systems and Software) role at Palex Portugal, a leading company in the management and distribution of innovative hospital and research solutions.

Main Responsibilities

- Provide technical assistance and support for IT systems and software.
- Installation, preventive maintenance, diagnosis and repair of equipment malfunctions, intervention estimates, initial operator training, and safety modifications and updates.
- Assist and implement clinidata software (Lis), integration with clinical analysis equipment, hospital software, and HL7.
- Database management (Oracle and Postgres) and software testing. Customer training and support for international projects.
- Configure and handle specific software (Mirth, SoapUI, Sqltools, DBeaver, PgAdmin) and remote access and VPN tools.
- Manage workflow, customer interaction, and company requirements and procedures, providing the best customer experience and appropriate incident reporting.

Knowledge & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a technician in a similar role.
- Experience in health systems and software. Ability to build cooperative relationships and work in teams.
- Languages: Portuguese, English; Spanish is a plus.
