A reputable construction company in Almada is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for women looking to break into the male‑dominated field of heavy equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy construction equipment according to project needs.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
- Comply with safety protocols and procedures.
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues immediately.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Requirements
- Biometric passport (preferably Portuguese).
- Physically fit and able to work long hours.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is an asset. Salary Starting salary for this position is 1100$. The exact salary will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. Location This job is located in Almada, Portugal. Preference will be given to those who can legally work in Portugal without requiring accommodation.
