Plant Production Quality Engineer – Faurecia

Your Mission, Roles and Responsibilities
The Plant Production Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product & process conformity in accordance with the control plan and quality principles (FES, ISO/TS16949) for his/her scope.
- Update the inspection instructions, ensuring application and discipline
- Approve the work instruction of the production line
- Ensure respect of Control Plan
- Be responsible for the implementation of Quality Tools (QRCI/8D, Mandatory Rules, Poka yoke, Lessons Learnt, 7 basics, SPC, …)
- Train and coach people of his perimeter on Quality Tools
- Ensure operators are trained and qualified in terms of product and process
- Perform regular audit to ensure respect of standardised work
- Ensure parts without defects are delivered to customer; for each derogation, there is an action plan followed by the plant
- Be responsible for containment within 24 h (D3) for any complaint
- Lead team members in problem‑solving initiatives to fix issues on the line using QRCI/8D
- Update daily quality indicators on the shop floor
- Archive all quality records
- Authority to stop non‑conforming product and production with immediate escalation to the quality manager
- Be a referent for quality methodology within the UAP
- Respect quality targets defined by the quality manager
Your profile and competencies to succeed
- Minimum education level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Quality, Production, Engineering (manufacturing, development, etc.)
- Professional quality experience
- Experience leading problem‑solving initiatives
- Strong foundation in quality tools (capability study, SPC, FMEA, problem‑solving methodology, control plan, etc.)
- Strong analytical and team problem‑solving skills
- Continuous improvement attitude
- English skills
- Nice to have: audit experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to anticipate issues and provide solutions
- Strong attention to detail
