Role Description:

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to lead the design, customization, and optimization of our Salesforce environment. You will be responsible for building scalable systems that power our operations, from underwriting and document management to partner portals and API integrations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that requires both declarative and programmatic expertise.

You’ll collaborate with our leadership and operations teams to ensure Salesforce becomes the backbone of our growth as we scale into direct lending and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Architecture & Customization

- Build scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flows, and Process Builder.
- Translate business needs into elegant, maintainable solutions.

System Integration

- Integrate Salesforce with external systems (e.g., bank data, phone dialers, affiliate platforms) using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Support real-time and batch integrations.

Automation & Workflow Management

- Design and maintain Flows, Process Builder logic, and workflow rules.
- Build automated document generation flows using tools like PandaDoc or DocuSign.

Portal Development

- (Optional) Develop borrower or partner-facing portals using Experience Cloud.

Data Architecture & DevOps

- Optimize schema, queries (SOQL/SOSL), and indexing for high-volume data.
- Manage deployments via SFDX, Git-based CI/CD pipelines (Gearset/Copado/AutoRABIT), and Change Sets.

Qualifications:

Must-Have

- 3+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Developer
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
- Salesforce Administrator certification

Strongly Preferred

- Salesforce Platform Developer II
- Salesforce App Builder

Bonus / Advanced

- Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer
- Salesforce Data Architecture & Management Designer
- Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Security & Sharing Model
- Experience with Managed Packages

Technical Skills

- Apex development (triggers, classes, batch jobs, schedulers)
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- SOQL / SOSL optimization
- REST and SOAP API integrations
- Document automation (e.g., PandaDoc, DocuSign)
- Familiarity with tools like Zapier, Make, Workato, Aircall, Twilio
- Experience with banking APIs like Plaid or Finicity is a plus

DevOps & Deployment

- Experience with SFDX, Git, Scratch Orgs, and Change Sets
- Familiarity with Gearset, Copado, or AutoRABIT preferred

Requirements

- High school diploma.
- Written and verbal communication in English (minimum B2 level)
- EU citizenship or Portuguese residence card or other valid document that allows legal work in Portugal
- Interest in working in Porto, Portugal, in a hybrid regime and a multicultural environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a drive for results and collaboration
- Adaptability to learn new tools and processes quickly
