Senior front-end engineer

Job Summary As a member of the New Offerings team, you will build products that help Toptal connect the right talent with the right client opportunities. Our team focuses on improving the systems and workflows that support talent matching, fulfillment operations, and cross-functional collaboration across the talent lifecycle. You will work on high-impact internal products with visibility across the organization, partnering closely with stakeholders from Talent Operations, Product, and Engineering. This is a product-minded team where Engineers are expected to think beyond implementation, contribute ideas, and help improve both user experience and operational efficiency. You will work on an internal monorepo application built with Type Script, React, and Graph QL. Experience building reliable internal tools, writing maintainable and well-tested code, and collaborating on shared front-end patterns is important. Familiarity with component libraries, unit testing, accessibility, and performance is a plus. This is a remote position. We do not offer visa sponsorship or assistance. You will build and maintain first-class software used by numerous businesses. Review the work of your colleagues. Provide suggestions to our stakeholders regarding usability improvements. Proactively identify technical debt and product areas that require attention or improvements and suggest improvements in our technology stack. Qualifications and Job Requirements 5+ years of front-end web development experience. Have a confirmed grasp of functional programming, clean code, and best testing practices. Seek complex problems but also consider multiple solutions, weigh them in, and decide on the best course of action. Product-minded, with a focus on solving real business problems and delivering user value. Experience with non-frontend programming languages and technical stacks is welcome. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Being a team player by avoiding solo performances and unblocking your peers. Caring for quality through impactful tests, process change proposals, and raising awareness of issues, be they product or technical. Caring for architecture
