We are looking for a highly experienced
Java Backend Developer
with strong expertise in
Java and Kotlin
to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems. You will play a key role in defining architecture, driving technical decisions, and delivering high-quality solutions in a cloud-native environment.
This role requires deep backend knowledge, hands-on experience with modern Java versions, and a strong understanding of distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using
Java (latest versions)
and
Kotlin
Build and maintain microservices using
Spring Boot
Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making at Senior/Staff level
Implement infrastructure as code using
Terraform
Deploy and operate services in
Kubernetes
environments
Develop event-driven solutions using
Kafka
Design and integrate APIs using
GraphQL Federation
Collaborate using
GitHub
for version control, code reviews, and CI/CD
Ensure system scalability, performance, security, and reliability
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, Cloud, and QA)
Required Skills & Experience
Extensive experience in backend development with
Java
(newer versions strongly preferred)
Solid hands-on experience with
Kotlin
Strong expertise in
Spring Boot
and microservices architecture
Experience with
Kubernetes
and containerized applications
Infrastructure as Code experience with
Terraform
Proven experience with
Kafka
and asynchronous/event-driven systems
Strong knowledge of
GraphQL , ideally
GraphQL Federation
Experience working with
GitHub
and modern development workflows
Cloud experience with
Azure and/or AWS
Nice to Have
Experience in large-scale, high-availability systems
Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and logging tools
Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
