Lisbon, Portugal School: Redbridge International School Job Overview Redbridge International School is seeking an experienced and passionate IB Business Management and Economics Teacher to join its academic team in Lisbon, Portugal. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging lessons within the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, inspiring students to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of global business and economic concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in IB Business Management and Economics.
- Foster an inquiry-based learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic excellence.
- Develop students' analytical, research, and problem-solving skills through innovative teaching practices.
- Assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment strategies aligned with IB standards.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student achievement.
- Support students in their academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum planning and interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
- Maintain accurate student records and prepare reports as required.
- Participate actively in school events, professional development activities, and departmental initiatives.
