The role involves building the core systems behind BJAK's AI Finance Agent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating reliable APIs, workflows, and financial product infrastructure that can scale across markets and serve millions of users.

* Build backend services, APIs, and workflows for the AI Neobank app.
* Support products across insurance, payments, wallet, savings, investing, travel, and financial services.
* Design reliable systems for user accounts, transactions, partner integrations, reconciliation, notifications, and operations.
* Work with product and mobile teams to ship customer-facing journeys quickly.
* Integrate with banks, payment gateways, insurers, data providers, and other partners.
* Improve system reliability, observability, security, and performance.
* Build systems that are practical, auditable, and ready for regulated financial products.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of backend engineering experience.
* Strong fundamentals in APIs, databases, system design, and production debugging.
* Experience building scalable services and integrating third-party systems.
* Good understanding of security, reliability, data quality, and operational edge cases.
* Able to make practical trade-offs between speed, quality, and risk.
* Comfortable working with product, mobile, operations, and business teams.
* Experience in fintech, payments, insurance, lending, banking, or regulated products is a strong advantage.
