We are looking for a
Senior Application Security Expert
to act as a
group-level reference for Application Security
within an international cybersecurity team. This role is
not execution-heavy ; it is focused on
guidance, governance and technical leadership , working closely with development teams and security stakeholders.
Location:
Lisbon or Porto (hybrid)
What you'll do
Guide teams on
Secure SDLC and Application Security best practices
Support
vulnerability management and risk prioritisation
Contribute to
AppSec governance , standards and guidelines
Act as a trusted advisor to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Support
reporting and KPIs
to assess AppSec maturity
What we're looking for
Strong background in
Application Security
in software environments
Solid understanding of
Secure SDLC (end-to-end) and shift-left
Experience with
secure design, application architecture and CI/CD
Excellent
communication and stakeholder management
skills
Fluent
English
