At DXC Technology, we are looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer to join our great team of Cloud. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring cloud technologies. Working closely with our architects, you will contribute to coding and deploying cloud‑based solutions. Additionally, you will support the efficient operation and maintenance of these solutions, ensuring their reliability and performance. Responsibilities - Accountable for delivering, maintaining, and optimizing Cloud Platforms (Azure) and related infrastructure, network, database, and middleware capabilities to support and enable the development of Cloud operations. - Responsible for designing and reviewing cloud solutions, ensuring they are aligned with infrastructure and network requirements. Your role includes assessing the impact of these solutions on the broader IT landscape and guaranteeing the availability of the necessary infrastructure—whether delivered internally or by external service providers. - Accountable for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the operational capacity, availability, and performance of the Cloud solutions against SLAs from a level two and level three support perspective. - Accountable for deploying new projects in the existing Cloud infrastructure. - Drive technical discussions with public cloud providers to anticipate and align long‑term capacity and performance needs. You’ll regularly review and adjust forecasts to ensure scalable, cost‑effective, and high‑performing cloud infrastructure. Requirements - >2 years’ experience in Design or Engineering roles for Systems analysis and infrastructure & network design in web‑scale environments - Experience in automation and IaC (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.), version control (e.g. Git), CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, or TFS, or Travis CI), containers (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift), infrastructure testing (e.g. ServerSpec), infrastructure security (e.g. OWASP ZAP), or test automation (e.g. Selenium or Gatling). - Infrastructure & Network automation and configuration management tools - Public cloud IaaS and PaaS deployment models and technologies - Network knowledge and network management experience in large data center environment - Highly cross‑functional and able to swap and perform adjacent roles and responsibilities at short notice - Strong relationship building, persuasion, and collaboration skills that drive effective constructive feedback and support - Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to distil difficult technical concepts into simple and actionable practices Benefits - Health insurance for you and your family - Professional development - Leading projects for market reference clients - Flexibility and work‑life balance - Access to DXC University with unlimited certifications At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
