What You'll Do
1. Design and develop backend components for an exciting new, unannounced game.
2. Work alongside the game development team to understand and implement game requirements based on feature designs.
3. Collaborate with client developers to ensure seamless integration between the game client and server.
What We're Looking For
1. 3+ years of experience in Go development.
2. 5+ years of server-side development experience.
3. Experience with Java.
4. Knowledge of Linux shell and scripting languages.
5. Familiarity with Just-in-Time development practices.
6. Open, collaborative mindset and clear thinking under pressure.
7. Passion for troubleshooting and minimizing downtime in live environments.
8. Excellent self-organization, autonomy, and initiative.
Bonus Points
1. Experience with Backend-as-a-Service platforms (e.g., Nakama, PlayFab).
2. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
3. A passion for games and experience with Unity.
4. Understanding of network protocols, non-blocking I/O, and large-scale distributed systems.
5. Hands-on experience with Cassandra or Redis.
6. Knowledge of concurrent, event-driven systems.
