About the job The purpose of the Data Cloud Engineer is to architect and develop scalable cloud-based data solutions for telecom environments, supporting analytics and high-performance data processing. Our ideal candidate has strong cloud and data engineering experience and enjoys working on complex, large-scale systems. We will rely on you to - Architect and develop scalable, high-performance cloud data solutions; - Build and optimise big data processing pipelines; - Integrate cloud solutions with existing telecom infrastructure; - Ensure data security, privacy and regulatory compliance; - Design data models for analytics and business intelligence; - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines; - Troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments; - Stay up to date with cloud and telecom data trends; - Provide technical guidance to junior team members. What we're looking for - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar; - 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering (telecom is a plus); - Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud; - Strong programming skills (Python, Java and SQL); - Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark); - Understanding of telecom network protocols and architectures; - Experience in data modelling, analytics and visualisation; - Familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC); - Cloud certifications are a plus.
