Why we need an Account Executive at Batch
In 2024, we tripled our size and onboarded hundreds of retailers. In 2025, we’re doing it again.
To support this growth, we are looking for an experienced Account Executive who can own the full sales cycle and help scale our revenue by closing high-impact deals with retailers that are a strong fit for Batch.
As an Account Executive, your mission is to generate and close new business opportunities, contributing directly to Batch’s revenue growth and long-term customer success.
What you will do at Batch
The Sales team’s mission is to grow Batch’s revenue by proving the value of our solution to retailers and building long-lasting partnerships.
As an Account Executive, you are customer-driven, commercially sharp, and comfortable owning deals end-to-end.
If you’re not proactive or comfortable being accountable for results, this role is not for you.
A typical day in this role will look like this:
- Own the full sales cycle, from qualified lead to contract signature
- Run discovery calls to deeply understand retailers’ needs, challenges, and business models
- Present and tailor Batch’s value proposition to different types of retailers
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals that create value for both Batch and our customers
- Collaborate closely with SDRs, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term success
- Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets
Who we’re looking for
You are a high-performing sales professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to make a tangible impact.
You:
- Have 3–5 years of experience in B2B Sales, preferably as an Account Executive or similar closing role
- Are comfortable managing the full sales cycle and closing deals independently
- Are highly motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by results
- Communicate clearly, confidently, and persuasively with senior stakeholders
- Are a self-starter who takes ownership and finds solutions when none exist
Bonus points if you also:
- Have experience selling SaaS, logistics, eCommerce, or marketplace solutions
- Hold a degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
- Have experience working in a high-growth startup environment
