Team Lead Platform Operations - ProductCERT (m/f/d)

We are seeking a Team Lead Platform Operations to join the Product Security division (PCERT) within the Global Cybersecurity team. This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure to support critical security applications and services. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers to manage deployments, enhance system reliability, automate platform operations, and enforce best practices in cybersecurity, scalability, and compliance.

You'll make an impact by:

- Leading and mentoring a team of engineers within the Product Security domain, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Overseeing the maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance of hybrid infrastructure (on-premise and cloud), ensuring the availability requirements of the Product Security services.
- Managing deployments, updates, and configurations across multiple environments to ensure seamless and secure operations.
- Monitoring and responding to infrastructure alerts and security incidents, improving system resilience and reliability.
- Implementing security hardening measures for endpoints, workloads, and network infrastructure, aligned with industry best practices.
- Developing and enforcing best practices for infrastructure security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Supporting security teams and developers in debugging applications and optimizing system performance.
- Maintaining detailed documentation for deployments, configurations, security controls, and operational processes.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in managing cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk, Datadog.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, segmentation, load balancers, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) principles and tools.
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Nice to have:

- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CCSK) are a strong plus.
