Financial Controller

We are a robotics startup developing an agnostic orchestration platform that enables companies to manage, monitor, and control multiple robots and robotic systems from a single interface. We are also developing custom Vision‑Language‑Action (VLA) models that enable natural‑language reasoning and autonomy across different types of robots and industries. Our mission is to make robotics more accessible, intelligent, and scalable — across industries ranging from hospitality and healthcare to defense and sports infrastructure management. Think of it as an operating system for any robot, with an ever-expanding library of intelligent capabilities. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the design and development of foundational technology for a robotics platform from the ground up. We are self‑funded and are currently developing v1 of the platform with our first pilot partners across energy, hospitality, and sports. Role Description We are looking for a Financial Controller to lead the finance function across two companies, ensuring rigorous financial performance control, cash management, and support for decision‑making. This role will play a central part in structuring and continuously improving financial processes, with significant exposure to management and investors.

Responsibilities:
- Managing the cash flow of two companies, including continuous monitoring (actual vs. budget) and forecast updates
- Preparing, consolidating, and analyzing monthly accounts, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information
- Managing subscriptions and operating expenses, in coordination with the accounting team
- Performing monthly actual vs. budget analysis across business dimensions, identifying variances and defining corrective actions
- Developing and maintaining financial models and 2–3-year business forecasts
- Managing and maintaining relationships with investors and investment funds
- Producing structured financial reporting and generating insights to support strategic decision‑making
- Contributing to the improvement of financial processes and internal controls

Requirements:
- Relevant experience in Financial Controller, Management Control, or similar roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and planning (budgeting & forecasting)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Autonomous, organized, and able to prioritize effectively
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with different stakeholders Nice to Have:
