Job location: Lisbon, Portugal

Shift: Rotative 24/7

WORK FROM THE OFFICE

We are looking for:

1. Proficiency in German language at min. C1 level and English at B2 level.
2. Availability to work on a 24/7 shift (including weekend shifts) from the office.
3. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
4. Quick learning and organizational skills - adaptability to learn new processes and concepts.
5. Strong attention to detail and a desire to deliver accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard.
6. Having a neutral mindset to alternative video content that needs classification.
7. Ability to review content that may be deemed inappropriate and/or contain sensitive and explicit material, sometimes involving graphic, discriminatory, or otherwise disturbing subjects on text or video formats.

The focus of the role will be to:

1. Review and process incoming privacy requests through online tools.
2. Analyze and identify content that is not in compliance with requirements and flag for action in a timely manner.
3. Review the reported content within agreed turnaround times and standards of quality.
4. Continually educate about changes to policies and protocols.
5. Address complex privacy cases and regulatory inquiries.
6. Effectively collaborate with team members on a range of projects to improve internal efficiency and effectiveness.

Content Moderators play an important role in ensuring the safety of online communities against harmful user-generated content. Safeguarding the online communication space can lead to meaningful and rewarding work for a content moderator as the mission of moderation aims to create positive, safe, and inclusive environments for everyone.

Rewarding outcomes are not often without challenges. As a part of the job requirement, you will be required to review and analyze explicit and extremely sensitive content sometimes involving graphic or otherwise disturbing text, videos, and images which may be disturbing due to their egregious nature.
