All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, including individuals with recognised disabilities (RQTH).
Long-term consulting mission
Global cloud platform used by hundreds of application teams worldwide
About the mission
Join the Cloud Services organisation of a global industrial leader and help build the next generation of its Enterprise Cloud platform. The aim is simple: give application teams a secure, governed, self-service way to use Azure, with less manual work and faster delivery.
You’ll design and build platform engineering products: reusable cloud services, APIs, self-service portals and automation workflows that connect Azure, GitHub, ServiceNow and identity services. Security, reliability and compliance are built in from the start. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You’ll set the standards that others follow.
What you’ll do
- Design and build full-stack self-service applications and REST APIs that make cloud easier to use
- Create reusable Terraform modules, templates and workflows for the full lifecycle of Azure resources
- Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent) for both infrastructure and software
- Define and implement automated testing strategies: functional, regression and deployment tests for apps, APIs, IaC modules and cloud services
- Integrate security and governance by design: IAM, policy enforcement, secrets management, auditability
- Build observability into the solutions you deliver: monitoring, logging, alerting and documentation
- Lead technical design, define standards and guide other engineers
- Find and remove manual effort and operational complexity Must have
- 10+ years of experience, including in international company environments
- Expert API and platform integration: Azure, GitHub, ServiceNow, identity services
- Expert automated testing and quality engineering
- Advanced Microsoft Azure and public-cloud architecture
- Advanced Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
- Advanced CI/CD and DevOps (GitHub Actions or equivalent)
- Advanced cloud security, identity and governance
- Advanced scripting (PowerShell or equivalent)
- Production operations and monitoring experience
- Working knowledge of containers and Kubernetes (AKS) Who you are
- A technical leader who sets standards and coaches others
- Someone who thinks in products, not tickets, building for reuse and adoption
- Pragmatic, quality-driven and focused on reducing complexity
- Comfortable working with distributed, multicultural teams You’ll work on enterprise-scale Azure at a global company, building products used by hundreds of teams around the world, at the point where software engineering, cloud and platform engineering meet.
