Overview

The Liquidity Reporting Analyst will produce financial reporting and manage the Liquidity Reporting of BNP Paribas EMEA entities. This role is responsible for controlling the reliability of financial data required for producing Liquidity reporting in coordination with Group and Business Lines.

Responsibilities

- Reconcile accounting vs economic data on balance sheet positions for a variety of financial products to explain discrepancies and find permanent solutions.

- Correlate, explain and find solutions aimed at improving and standardizing the control processes of the reconciliation of Liquidity figures.

- Manage the control and reliability of financial data required to produce the Liquidity reporting, coordinating with the Group / Business Lines.

- Collaborate with Middle Office, Back Office, IT and Finance stakeholders to resolve issues identified during closing periods.

- Document findings and assist in reporting quarterly reconciliations performed.

- Weekend working and long days during quarter closing periods will be considered and compensated according to Bank policy.

Main Activities

- Gain a global understanding of financial activities, accounting and economic Middle Office systems and processes.

- Build relationships within sites, including Finance, Middle Office, Back Office, IT and Management.

- Identify common best practices and publish and implement in all sites, updating periodically.

- Assist in identifying operational process improvements in production, control procedures and workflow organization.

- Progress on resolution of issues identified during closing period in liaison with stakeholders, experts and IT.

- Develop the target operating model, improving and standardizing tactical solutions into permanent efficient processes.

- Ensure consistency of requirements across FINANCE platforms.

Qualifications

- Master’s degree in accounting or finance.

- At least 3 years of professional experience in Corporate Investment Banking, data analysis or related fields.

- Basic knowledge of banking balance sheets and core components.

- Strong knowledge of Global Markets products and their accounting scheme (Derivatives, Securities, REPO).

- Proficiency in SAP BI, MS Office Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF) and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.

- Strong analytical mindset, ability to investigate and understand root causes of breaks.

- Capacity to lead investigations autonomously and lead task forces.

- Fluent in English (spoken and written).

- Good organisational and communication skills.

- Strong control background and ability to question and challenge information.

- Curious, rigorous, detail‑oriented, reliable, open‑minded and efficient.
