The role We're looking for a
motion-ready Senior 2D Graphic Designer
to strengthen the graphic design backbone of our motion graphics and interactivity team.
This is a
graphic-design-first role , ideal for someone who excels in visual storytelling, composition, character design, and translating scripts into strong visual proposals built with animation in mind.
You'll help define the
artistic direction
of projects by creating style frames, storyboards, characters, visual systems, and scene compositions that become the foundation of our animation pipeline. A solid understanding of
animation principles and asset behaviour
is essential to ensure smooth transitions into production.
You'll also collaborate closely with the creative team,
mentor junior designers , and support projects from concept through final delivery.
What you'll do
Translate scripts into
clear, visually compelling storyboards, style frames, characters, and visual systems
Develop
art proposals
that define mood, pacing, hierarchy, and narrative flow
Design assets built specifically for
motion, transitions, reveals, and interactivity
Visualise
complex scientific ideas, diagrams, and structures
in a clear, engaging way
Review and guide junior designers' work with constructive, actionable feedback
Prepare
clean, well-structured files
for seamless animation handoff
Apply
UX/UI fundamentals
to interactive and branching video experiences
Collaborate closely with writers, motion designers, and art directors to maintain consistency across projects
What we're looking for
Must-have
5+ years of professional experience in
graphic design for motion or visual storytelling
Advanced skills in
Adobe Creative Suite
Strong fundamentals in
composition, hierarchy, clarity, and concept development
Proven experience creating
storyboards, style frames, scenes, and character designs
Solid understanding of
animation principles
(timing, anticipation, easing, staging)
Experience preparing files for
motion production handoff
Ability to mentor junior designers and elevate team output
Fluent in English
with excellent communication skills
Comfortable working in a
Windows-based workflow
Nice to have
Basic or intermediate
rigging knowledge
Experience with
data visualisation
or simplifying complex diagrams
Interactive or multimedia project experience
Background in
healthcare, pharma, or scientific communication
Availability to work on a
US-aligned schedule
(12:00–20:30 CET)
