Senior Merchandiser, Men's Woven Tops & Outerwear
What will you do?
A day in the life of a Senior Merchandiser for Mens Tops & Outerwear at Dickies looks a little like this.
The Sr. Merchandiser for Men's Tops and Outerwear will work within the Global Product Team, covering all regions and leading the merchandising strategy and execution for our Men's Workwear category, with a focus on woven tops and outerwear. This role requires a strategic and innovative individual with a strong background in merchandising, particularly in workwear and Men's apparel, and a keen understanding of market trends and consumer needs. They will collaborate closely with design, product development, marketing, sales and regional merchandising teams. The primary responsibility is to lead the seasonal merchandising execution, ensuring product assortments meet market demands and align with the brand's vision and business objectives. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Workwear Merchandising.

1. Deliver the seasonal product line for Men's Workwear woven tops and outerwear in alignment with the brand and financial objectives against growth areas and key concepts.
2. Analyze sales data, consumer research, trend data, to optimize assortments and pricing strategies.
3. Develop a strong understanding of the consumer and channels to identify opportunities, utilizing insights to drive informed decision making.
4. Manage the day-to-day activities of your category.
5. Responsible for initiating new concepts that build on Dickies heritage franchises through the spectrum from functional performance innovation for workwear needs, to elevated lifestyle interpretations.
6. Lead cross functional collaboration with design, marketing, and regional merchandising and sales teams to ensure a strong product offering that meets their needs and drives growth in all regions.
7. Build and implement pro-active and directive merchandising strategies including end to end plans for key launches, with pro-active direction to stakeholders on who is the target, what is the concept, and where it should be placed.
8. Lead seasonal GTM process in partnership with design and development teams to ensure on-time completion.
9. Collaboration with Genuine Dickies merchandising team to build synergy and prevent duplication.
10. Continuously analyze the category and evaluate changes to improve efficiency.
11. Support Sr. Director in the merch financial planning process, including revenue and margin target setting and execution to drive commercial success.
12. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to drive product innovation.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
1. Proven track record of driving commercial success through effective merchandising strategies.
2. Strong business acumen and understanding of retail fundamentals.
3. Strong planning and analytical skills.
4. Creative problem solver - thinks strategically, acts tactically.
5. Experience working in global/regional GTM model.
6. Proactive working style able to work independently as well as seamlessly across the organization.
7. Strong PC skills - MS Office programs – primarily analytical and presentation programs.
8. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and time constraints.
9. Strong influence, verbal and written communication skills – promotes spirit of collaboration and teamwork.
10. Apparel experience, ideally knowledge of the work consumer/marketplace or passion/interest in that area.
11. Minimum of 5 years of merchandising experience, preferably in the apparel or consumer goods industry, with a focus on Men's workwear.

Hiring Range: $90,720.00 USD - $113,400.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
