Funções e Tarefas

The work will be carried out within the scope of the previously described research projects and will include the following:

- Support and participation in the various stages of (correlational, experimental and qualitative) studies development: literature review, planning, preparation, execution, data collection and analysis and results discussion.

- Support in advanced research methodologies (e.g. social media data extraction and analysis) and research software (e.g. Qualtrics; SPSS).

- Support the drafting of manuscripts for publication nationally and internationally.

- Presenting at scientific meetings and other dissemination activities of the project.

- Participation and organization of events (meetings, workshops, ...) carried out in association with the project.

Perfil do Candidato

The call aims to hire a junior researcher in the form of an uncertain fixed-term employment contract under private law, under the terms of article 6 of Decree-Law no. 57/2016, of 29 August. National, foreign, or stateless Ph.D. holders may apply for the position. Cumulatively, the ideal candidate should have the following academic profile:

- Master degree in Psychology or related scientific field.

- Proven experience in the participation in research projects in the field of Applied Social Psychology, Consumer and/or Environmental Psychology, Risk Communication and/or Behaviour Change (projects dealing with risk perception, and/or the psychology of sustainability and behaviour change, are preferred).

- Collaboration with research teams within the scope referred in b); d.

- Demonstration of scientific communication initiatives and, ideally, participation in scientific publications.

- Proficiency in spoken and written English (Portuguese proficiency is useful).
