We're Hiring – Data Center Infrastructure Technician / Engineer Location: Lisbon (on-site twice per month) Start date: 07/12/2025 Duration: 12 months (with visibility up to 24 months) Freelance contract - full time We are looking for a Data Center Infrastructure Technician / Engineer to join our growing team in the Lisbon area Your mission: You'll play a key role in managing and supporting Data Center infrastructure projects and operations, including: Designing, planning, and executing infrastructure projects (new rooms, Racks/PODs, HVAC, UPS, etc.) Validating and coordinating engineering projects Managing and controlling budgets Collecting and analyzing data for economic evaluations Overseeing the installation and maintenance of servers, switches, firewalls, and network infrastructure Maintaining asset inventories and documentation Coordinating with internal teams and customers (onsite and remote) What we're looking for: MUST HAVE: 3+ years of experience in Data Center implementation and/or operations Basic Networking knowledge Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio, Word) Basic OS knowledge (Linux, Unix, Windows Server) Proficiency in English and Portuguese NICE TO HAVE: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Telecommunication Engineering or related fields Experience in project management and continuous improvement tools Knowledge of environmental protection measures Proficiency in AutoCAD Additional languages are a plus If you are an infrastructure professional passionate about Data Centers, large-scale transformation projects, and global collaboration, feel free to contact me directly via LinkedIn.
