What are we looking for? We're looking for a talented Hands-on Software Architect to join our R&D Group and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software security solutions. How will you make an impact? Work within a cross-cut architecture group that supports and provides its services to R&D teams in all Checkmarx product units Partner with our engineering leaders in the development of a comprehensive architecture strategy that supports business objectives Provide detailed technical specifications and define architectural approaches Develop architectural POCs, research technical innovations, and evaluate new technologies Provide technical and methodology guidance to the teams, communicate implementation alternatives and trade-offs Design and implement improvements to our existing products Requirements What is needed to succeed? Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture design Strong understanding of cloud-native applications, AWS, microservices, and service-oriented architectures Hands-on experience with modern software development methodologies and tools such as Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and Git Expertise in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# Strong communication skills with the ability to converse with technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients. Proven ability to analyze complex systems and infrastructures, evaluate them, and suggest optimal solutions Passionate about designing and building software product architecture Eager to own code in the highest quality and security level, including design reviews and code reviews Advantage: Experience with LLMs and Generative AI.
