YOUR ROLE

As a Lead Data Engineer / Snowflake Architect, you play a critical role in guiding and managing Snowflake development across various use cases, projects, and sprints. With a proven track record in complex projects, including Snowflake Architecture, you ensure robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading technical approaches, troubleshooting bugs, and providing timely updates.
  • Proposing solutions and driving enhancements with accountability and clear documentation.
  • Aligning with Solution / Product Owners to meet business expectations effectively.
  • Engaging with business stakeholders and proactively identifying technical improvements.
  • Ensuring high-performance optimization and backlog management for technical enhancements.

Additionally, you guide and mentor other Data Engineers, supporting them in technical challenges and closing knowledge gaps. Your leadership fosters efficiency and quality through solution reviews, design validations, and code implementation oversight.

Managing development execution, you handle ticket prioritization, resolve complex issues, provide effort estimates, and maintain up-to-date documentation, all while adhering to Agile methodologies. Furthermore, you oversee deployment processes, coordinating testing, UAT setups, and the go-live process, ensuring seamless transitions in collaboration with operations teams.

YOUR PROFILE

As a Lead Data Engineer / Snowflake Architect, you bring extensive experience and deep technical expertise in Snowflake and SPARK, making you an essential asset in large-scale data engineering projects.

Your technical skill set includes:

  • Snowflake Expertise, Advanced knowledge in Snowflake Architecture, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • SPARK Proficiency, Strong capabilities in distributed computing, enabling efficient ETL / ELT processes for large-scale data processing.
  • SQL and Git, In-depth SQL knowledge and version control expertise to ensure seamless development and collaboration.
  • Agile and DevOps Tools, Proven track record working with Azure DevOps, Jira, and other agile project management tools to ensure smooth execution of tasks and deployments.

Your leadership ensures that high-quality solutions are delivered, technical challenges are efficiently addressed, and data engineering best practices are consistently applied across teams and projects.
