Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective PE lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy living among students. The PE Teacher will also play a key role in organizing sports activities, competitions, and fostering a positive sports culture within the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement dynamic PE lesson plans that cater to students of different skill levels.
- Teach a variety of sports, fitness activities, and health-related topics.
- Assess students' physical abilities and track their progress.
- Promote teamwork, fair play, and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity.
- Organize and oversee school sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students during physical activities.
- Maintain and manage sports equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate with faculty, parents, and school administration to support student development.
- Stay up to date with best practices in physical education and sports science.
- Provide cover for absent colleagues when required.
- Perform break, lunchtime, and after-school duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Teaching certification (if required by local regulations).
- Previous experience teaching PE in a school setting preferred.
- Knowledge of fitness principles, health education, and injury prevention.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm and the ability to motivate students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership.
- Organizational skills for planning lessons and events.
- Adaptability to different learning styles and student needs.
