ABOUT THE JOB: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Central Process Owner (CPO) for Testing to join our EMEA Technical Center team in Lisbon, Portugal or in our EMEA plants. This role is critical in driving the standardization, reliability, and continuous improvement of electrical test systems used in the production and final validation of automotive wiring harnesses across multiple manufacturing sites in the EMEA region. YOUR ROLE: Design, assemble, and commission electrical test equipment for wiring harness validation Interpret customer specifications and technical drawings to align testing systems with requirements Standardize and deploy testing processes across EMEA production sites Configure and troubleshoot test setups (I/O boards, pneumatics, sensors, automation interfaces) Monitor and improve test system performance, reliability, and compliance Document test procedures, calibration processes, and operating instructions Train local factory teams on test system use, maintenance, and troubleshooting Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and automotive OEM customers Travel across the EMEA region to support factory implementations, issue resolution, and optimizations YOUR BACKGROUND: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Automation Engineering, or related field Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or process test engineering role in an automotive industry Hands-on experience with electrical testing systems for automotive wiring harnesses is highly preferred Proficiency in: Mechatronics and pneumatic systems I/O systems and sensor integration Basic programming (PLC, Python, etc.) Interpreting technical drawings and specifications Strong documentation and analytical skills (Excel, procedures, calibration) Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus Comfortable with up to 60% travel across EMEA Please submit your CV in English.
