As a Backend Developer, you'll play a key role in their innovative team dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for their global customers. From powering platforms like NBCUniversal's Peacock in the United States to Sky's NOW, and SkyShowtime across Europe, and now Showmax in over 40 countries in Africa, one thing's for certain, your contributions will impact millions of viewers worldwide. What you'll be doing:To promote a data-driven culture, the experimentation team is developing a platform that allows all the various Sky teams to launch new functionalities developed with A/B tests, making them measurable in relation to your KPI's. The candidates will support all the platform's backends. Required skills & experience:At least 4 years of experience; Strong development experience in Backend Kotlin, Java or other; Knowledge and experience with a good range of technologies such as Python, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Grafana, and Prometheus; Knowledge of CI/CD and AWS; Ability to work well in a team, self-driven and eager to learn; Creative thinking, analytical skills, with attention to detail; Strong spoken English skills.
