We are currently seeking an IT Project Manager to join our growing delivery team in Portugal.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage cross-functional project teams. Coordinate and control team activities, including technical implementation tasks, process reengineering, and organizational change activities to achieve desired results;
  • Prepare project execution plans and ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, meet technical requirements, and achieve business objectives. Manage budget and schedule;
  • Select, develop, and leverage appropriate technical and business resources needed for successful project execution;
  • Align the project team around the project's visions, strategy, goals, methodology and business objectives;
  • Manage project resources and external stakeholders such as subcontractors and service suppliers;
  • Lead regular project reviews with external and internal stakeholders, including senior IT and business leaders;
  • Coordinate and maintain program communications;
  • Ensure project results are of the highest caliber, meeting technical and behavioral objectives, business case targets, and planned value.

What we are looking for:

  • Projects Manager with +7 years of experience as IT Project Manager;
  • Experience leading functional and technical teams to deliver IT solutions, including software design, development and configuration, Application Technical integrations, and IT infrastructure requirements;
  • Experience leading projects as a service provider;
  • Experience working independently in a team-oriented, collaborative environment;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Finance or related field, or equivalent combination of work experience in IT Project management plus applicable schooling/certifications.

What would be a plus:

  • Experience in managing projects in the Retail industry;
  • Experience with Oracle Retail suite of applications;
  • Project Management certifications;
  • Proficiency in German, French or Spanish.
