For more information and to register, please click here: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver engaging and effective instruction in Portuguese language and literature, aligned with the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and other international curricula. Plan and execute dynamic lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, incorporating modern teaching strategies and technology. Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, ensuring high academic standards. Provide pastoral support, promoting student well-being and collaborating with the school's well-being team. Encourage student involvement in extra-curricular activities, cultural events, and language-related projects. Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives. Maintain a positive classroom environment with high standards of behaviour and discipline. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support professional development goals. Engage parents and stakeholders through regular communication about student progress. Stay current with educational advancements and participate in ongoing professional development. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: A relevant degree in Portuguese Language, Literature, or related field, plus a valid teaching qualification. Experience teaching Portuguese at the secondary level, ideally with knowledge of IB curriculum (IBDP) or other international programmes. Ability to inspire and engage students, fostering a love for language and culture. Strong skills in differentiating instruction for diverse learners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. Experience using technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning.
