With a presence in Spain, Portugal, Greece, and Italy, and more than 1,700 employees worldwide, Hipoges works with major financial institutions and international investors.Hipoges offers a wide range of asset management services, including: Advisory services throughout the portfolio evaluation and acquisition process Design of processes and implementation of management tools Development of servicing solutions for different types of assets A consultancy department for portfolio acquisition operations, and co-invests alongside its clients Descripción 1) DESCRIPTION The IT department is responsible for ensuring best IT practices, providing user support for technical issues and resolving them, managing systems (Linux and Windows), network security, company IT equipment, and maintenance of devices. Hipoges is looking to recruit a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to maintain, manage, and update our infrastructure. This is spread across multiple locations (offices and stores) in several countries (Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Greece), as well as in various data centres and cloud services. 2) RESPONSABILITIES Diagnose and resolve complex issues in Kubernetes and Rancher, using effective troubleshooting techniques to quickly restore container services affected by technical problems. Escalate incidents to higher levels when necessary, ensuring clear and smooth communication between teams. Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring correct configuration and security. Monitor system and application performance using monitoring tools and metrics to anticipate issues and optimize resources. Apply updates and patches to systems and applications, ensuring service continuity and infrastructure security. Work closely with development teams to understand technical and business requirements, facilitating effective continuous integration. Identify and propose improvements to processes and tools, always aiming for optimization and efficiency in technical support. Comply with the business continuity and contingency plan. Perfil 3) SKILLS Experience with Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu) Minimum 2 years of experience managing and operating container environments, focusing on Kubernetes and Rancher Knowledge of related tools and applications such as Harbor, Istio, Longhorn, among others Ability to work in dynamic, high-pressure environments Excellent communication and teamwork skills Web servers (Apache, Nginx) Databases: MySQL/MariaDB and PostgreSQL Scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.) Network services: DNS, Email, DHCP, LDAP, AD, certificates, etc. Desirable: Official certifications in Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD) and Rancher Knowledge of VMWare virtualization Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, etc.) Knowledge of SAN storage (NetApp) Experience with Veeam Backup Linux, Cloud, or network certifications Experience with monitoring systems (Zabbix) Network administration: Ethernet, Routing, NAT, IPSec VPN, VLAN, 802.1x Knowledge of Ansible. 4) QUALIFICATIONS Education: Vocational Training in Computer Systems/ bachelor's degree in computer engineering/Telematics/ Telecommunication Experience: At least 4 years of experience administering Linux in corporate environments.
