We are looking for a Senior Devops/Platform Engineer to join the team driving the foundation of this mission-critical platform. In this role, you’ll focus on building scalable, automated, self-service infrastructure that empowers developers and boosts the reliability of the product. You’ll play a key role in shaping CI/CD pipelines, optimizing developer workflows, and improving cloud architecture with a forward-thinking, automation-first mindset. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain internal self-service platforms and tools that empower developers Design scalable and secure solutions in AWS cloud infrastructure Own and improve CI/CD processes using tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Argo Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices and streamline delivery Support Docker and Kubernetes platforms with a strong focus on automation Resolve JIRA tickets related to cloud, CI/CD, and system monitoring Maintain and improve infrastructure as code using Terraform and Terragrunt Ensure system uptime, performance, and reliability to meet SLA standards Proactively explore and implement new DevOps tools and solutions Requirements 4-5+ years of relevant Devops experience 3+ years' experience with AWS 3+ years' experience in designing automation Terraform or Terragrunt , with a focus on designing automation workflows 3+ years' experience in Kubernetes Experience managing 10+ clusters simultaneously Solid CI/CD knowledge with Bitbucket, Jenkins, and workflow automation tools Good understanding of APIs and microservices architecture Curious, collaborative, and eager to improve the developer experience Fluent in English Willingness to go to the office 2 times a week What they offer Global startup company with 200 employees worldwide Opportunity to work on a cutting-edge, mission-critical platform that helps save lives Significant ownership of your work and real impact on the product Competitive compensation and benefits Hybrid work model with flexibility (initially remote, then 2 days/week onsite in Lisbon) Collaborative environment with direct access to hiring managers Exposure to complex cloud-native systems and cutting-edge DevOps tools Clear path for career growth within a growing Lisbon-based R&D hub No sponsorhip at the moment.
