Here, prepare yourself to conquer your goals, while enjoying the journey. We are currently looking for Engineering Manager for a Leading Multinational Retail CompanyRequirements: Tech Stack:Java, Spring Boot, GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, REST APIs, SQL, DockerKey Responsibilities:Technical LeadershipSet technical direction and architectural standards for large-scale distributed systemsValidate designs, challenge decisions, and guide teams through complex trade-offsEnsure technical choices support business goals, scalability, and long-term sustainabilityPeople & Delivery LeadershipLead and develop engineering teams, owning performance management and career progressionDrive execution through planning, sequencing, dependency and risk managementMaintain delivery focus in remote/hybrid environmentsBusiness & Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary interface between engineering and business leadershipAlign technical execution with strategic priorities and managing conflict expectationsRequired Experience & Skills:5+ years of backend experience with Java and Spring BootStrong experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systemsSystem design rigor at Amazon/Google levelProven people management experienceStrong business acumen and stakeholder management skillsComfort operating in high-ambiguity environmentsTime zone flexibility due to remote collaboration with stakeholders.Nice to Have:Background or strong exposure to business or managementExperience balancing technical leadership with people leadershipAgile delivery at scale Location: Lisbon, Braga, Coimbra hybridWhat do we offer? An innovative and growing company, with a lot of opportunities for professional development. Retribution according to your experience and performance.
