In 2024, we merged with The Loop co., a Portuguese software services company, so we now boast over 250 Engineers across the different locations (UK, India, Portugal, South Africa, Brazil, US and eastern Europe). At Ovyo, our people build the platforms that shape the way the world watches video and connects, working on a mix of long-term customer engagements and shorter consulting projects, quickly fast tracking their experience within the industry, and their career. About the role: We’re looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead agile delivery teams and play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality digital products. This role sits at the heart of product development, balancing customer needs, business value, and technical delivery. Responsibilities: Own and drive the product roadmap, leading one or more Scrum teams as Product Owner Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and product performance to drive product success Own the product backlog, ensuring epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria follow best practice Act as the voice of the customer, leading ideation and feature discovery in partnership with user research Collaborate closely with Product Management and senior technology stakeholders to align sprint goals with product strategy and OKRs Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning, prioritising work based on value, impact, and ROIProvide clear business context and analysis to support both functional and technical backlog items Work closely with Product Design and Engineering to plan and deliver upcoming development Partner with Marketing to support value-driven go-to-market activity for new product releases Support the resolution of customer issues within the scope of the product roadmap Stay up to date with Agile, Scrum, and product management best practices Requirements: Proven experience working as a Product Owner in an Agile environment Experience delivering digital products such as websites, mobile apps, or digital services Strong experience in the mobile space, including native apps, third-party integrations, and app publication Experience with B2 B products (enterprise, back-office, or extranet) and/or B2 C user-facing applications Strong business acumen combined with solid technical understanding In-depth knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills Strong organisational and time-management abilities Analytical, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail A creative, proactive approach to product development
