We are a leading electrical and instrumentation company operating in Braga, seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial and commercial settings. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment.
Responsibilities- Install, calibrate and maintain various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, etc.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and make necessary repairs
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments and ensure they are functioning correctly
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper installation and operation of instruments
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to management
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working with electrical equipment
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or commercial setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems and circuits
- Familiarity with various types of instruments and their functions
- Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this position. Salary may be negotiable based on experience.
This position is located in Braga. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Portugal.
