Purpose As long-term modeling analyst you are partticipating to the analysis and preparation (sometimes creation) of financial models and projections for the company. Your participate to the 6 YP model preparation crucial for strategic planning, budgeting, liquidity, investment analysis, and forecasting long-term financial performance. Responsibilities You will be mainly responsible for maintaining, building and analyzing SBM specific models. The principal model covers the profit and loss and cash forecast for the group as a whole in the long term. You therefore are to extract data from different sources, consolidate, run scenarios and integrate them into a comprehensive report. This is done in close collaboration with the reporting team especially the reporting analyst. You are able to perform effective analytical reviews with appropriate level of detail, understand the implications and present the results to relevant stakeholders. The models are critical in order for SBM to simulate the impact arising from different scenarios and to make informed business decisions. These models will be incorporated in management reporting. You are not only able to review but also to challenge and validate the results with relevant business owners Next to the business impact you have in this role, you have significant space to maneuver and room for improvement. Education Master Degree in Finance / Economics amd or relevant post-graduation degree and qualification in finance (i.e. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) Experience 3 to 5+ years of experience in an international audit firm and/or a similar corporate position in a large cap listed company. Experience in O&G /FPSO market would be a plus. Furthermore you have the following skills and experience: Advanced skills in Excel (particularly pivot and database) and IT/consolidation tools such as SAP, Business Objects and SAP Financial Consolidation Skills in Corporate Finance activities, Self-motivated, proactive and ability to function in a tight deadline oriented environment, You have experience and like to work in an international team environment and manage ambiguity, Fluent in English both written and verbal Proactive, analytical Ability to work over short deadline Functional Competencies Book keeping and transactions Analytics and reporting Cost Control and performance management execution Risk and Internal control Budgeting and forecasting Financial acumen Financial Modelling Investor Relations Project financing Contractual and commercialGENERAL INFORMATION SBM Offshore N.V. is a listed holding company that is headquartered in Amsterdam.
