Noesis Is Looking For Candidates With The Following ProfileWhat will they do as an IT Platform Engineer?Working with a team of other talented infrastructure platform engineers and architects. Maintaining and enhancing their cloud-based environment, which delivers fully automated infrastructure services to both internal teams and beyond. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including our IT service delivery organization, data analytics and integration teams to build and maintain a cohesive and secure IT ecosystem. Main Tasks And Responsibilities Platform engineering: Design, deploy, and manage robust infrastructure solutions primarily on AWS and Nutanix, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security; Automation & scripting: Develop and implement REST APIs , automation workflows and configuration management scripts to streamline infrastructure deployment and management; Infrastructure optimization: Modernize legacy systems for optimal cloud performance, maximizing resource efficiency and ensuring cost-effective operations; Collaboration: Work closely with other agile cross-functional teams, including our IT service delivery organization, data analytics and integration teams, to build and maintain a cohesive and secure IT ecosystem; Documentation & best practices: Document configurations, standards, and best practices to maintain consistency and compliance across the infrastructure. Requirements At least 3 years as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Automation Specialist or DevOps engineer with significant experience with scripting and/or programming languages for the automation of IT infrastructure (eg Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Rundeck ); A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field; Experience with Infrastructure as Code (eg Terraform, Cloudformation); Knowledge and experience with (hybrid) cloud services (eg AWS EC2, RDS, ECS, ELB, Lambda and Nutanix); Experience with containerization technologies is a big plus (eg Docker, Kubernetes); Familiar with Git and managing CI/CD pipelines; Experience with Linux system administration is a big plus; A proactive approach to exploring new technologies and implementing forward-thinking solutions. Fluency in English (C1), Spanish is a plus Hybrid / In one of these:3 days per week at the office in Lisbon, Coimbra, Porto, or Castelo Branco.
