Your new Company: A global industrial company is expanding its Global Business Services (GBS) operations and establishing a regional GBS satellite in Portugal to support Europe operations. This is your opportunity to join at the ground level and help shape GBS from the inside out Your new Role: As Accounting Team Lead, you will oversee and support components of the Purchase to Pay process and team to ensure efficient operations where suppliers are paid in time and the T&E process runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include: Building, managing and motivating a team, while supporting development, career progression and setting/monitoring clear performance targets. Ensuring SLAs are met or exceeded, and managing complex/escalated cases, including workload oversight and tactical performance improvements. Supporting employee onboarding and training, conducting regular performance reviews and administering rewards. Developing and documenting procedures and processes, acting as a subject matter expert and participating in project work when required. Deputise for the department manager where required.
