Responsibilities
Provide interpretation services in person or via phone/video calls
Accurately convey messages between parties in different languages
Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
Familiarize yourself with industry-specific terminology and jargon
Manage and prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines
Ensure the quality and accuracy of translations
Collaborate with other interpreters as needed
Requirements
Proven experience as an interpreter (formal training or certification is a plus)
Fluency in at least two languages (English and Portuguese are preferred)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to different situations
Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Professionalism, discretion, and respect for confidentiality
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
Salary The salary for this position is $1300 per month.
Location This job is based in Lisbon, Portugal. Relocation or accommodation assistance will not be provided.
