Company Description Graphenest is a technology provider of graphene-based shielding solutions for the electronics and automotive markets. By protecting electronics from electromagnetic interference with sustainable coatings and plastics, we aim to empower next-generation technologies through the application of advanced nanotechnology. Role Description We are looking for a Research and Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves research, synthesis, and characterization of graphene solutions by liquid-phase exfoliation techniques, with a focus on applications in electromagnetic interference shielding. The ideal candidate will offer technical support and develop graphene-based solutions tailored to market and customer requirements, while also contributing to the writing of technical documents. Responsibilities Conduct research, characterization, and synthesis of 2D materials and nanomaterials; Provide innovative solutions for the development of graphene-based technologies according to market and customer needs; Write and maintain high-quality technical documentation. Qualifications Proficiency in characterization techniques such as FTIR, Raman and Photoluminescence spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, Dynamic Light Scattering, Atomic Force Microscopy, and Scanning Electron Microscopy; Strong background in software tools such as Microsoft Office, OriginPro, ImageJ, Gwyddion, and others; Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct and interpret test results; Master's or PhD degree in Micro and Nanotechnologies Engineering, Materials, Chemistry, Polymers, or a related field. Competences Proficient in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas effectively; A dynamic team player, able to lead, influence, and contribute constructive opinions; Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and willing to deliver beyond expectations. Differential Factor Consolidated knowledge of electromagnetic interference and compatibility (EMI/EMC), RF shielding, and electrostatic discharge (ESD); Consolidated knowledge of coatings and polymer formulation related to graphene materials.
