Cannabud.ai is a tech startup helping cannabis growers run their operations more efficiently, safely, and legally. In the legal cannabis industry, everything has to be tracked. Every plant, every gram, every action. This means a lot of paperwork and manual data entry, which wastes time and leads to errors. We built a digital platform that automates all of this. It helps cannabis producers stay compliant with strict laws, reduce mistakes, and manage their crops and teams more effectively. Our software connects with sensors, tracks plants in real time, and turns data into smart decisions. Think of it like a smart operating system for cannabis farms. Your Role We're looking for an Entry Level Full Stack Developer to join our team and grow into leading our AI efforts. We recently secured funding to build AI-powered features into our platform. This won't be boring chatbot stuff. We're building AI that powers an entire industry and redefines how people interact with software for cannabis. Think intelligent automation, predictive systems, and tools that actually understand cultivation operations. You'll be our first AI-focused hire, helping shape this from the ground up. No AI experience required. Just curiosity and the drive to figure things out. You'll learn alongside us and take ownership as these capabilities grow. You'll work directly with the founding team, build real features, solve real problems, and improve the experience for actual users. You will: Help build and scale our web app Write clean, efficient code Explore and prototype AI-powered features (with support and guidance) Help us turn messy cannabis data into smart automation Connect front-end interfaces with back-end logic Learn how to work with real users and their feedback Touch everything from dashboards to data models Our stack is React and Python Flask, but what matters most is your ability to learn fast and adapt. Who You Are We like underdogs. People who weren't handed anything but figured it out anyway. If your CV doesn't look impressive but you know you can outwork and outlearn most people, we want to hear from you. You have a basic understanding of web development You're familiar with JavaScript or Python You're comfortable using modern frameworks or eager to learn them You can communicate well in English You're excited about AI and want to learn how it's built, not just use it You're curious, fast to learn, and want to work on something meaningful Bonus if you have experience with React, Flask, APIs, or Docker.
