Securities Settlement Officer (Junior) Department: Securities Settlement Department Location: Lisbon, Portugal Contract Duration: 1 Year Mission Start Date: November 2025 About the Role We are looking for a Junior Securities Settlement Officer to join our Securities Settlement Department in Lisbon. The selected candidate will support the team in performing pre- and post-settlement activities, clearing, custody, and maintaining legal documentation, as well as handling transaction and event-related accounting for securities within scope. This position is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented professional eager to start a career in financial operations within a dynamic, international environment. Main Responsibilities Monitor and ensure the accurate and timely settlement of securities transactions and associated products. Perform cash and position reconciliations between internal systems and local custodians. Ensure referential data is maintained and updated in coordination with the responsible teams. Handle and respond to internal and external emails and queries promptly and professionally. Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Language Skills English: Expert level (both written and spoken). Soft Skills High attention to detail and rigor. Results-driven with a focus on meeting deadlines and quality standards. Strong client focus and service orientation. Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
